Everyone....please, not every book copies Twilight! If you don't compare (by saying they are copying) books to that series...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! If you do, please think about it. :(
I've seen in so many places that readers are claiming that Vampire Diaries copied Twilight. It was written years before Twilight and so was the love triangle. Different point of view switches have been around too.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the series when I read it, but I have never thought another book copied it just because there was a new student. Or it sounded like Jacob because the guy was buff and shirtless. If there are sparkly vampires or....well sparkly vampires in a different book, THEN it is obviously copying.
I'm not saying this as an author because I have noticed this before I started writing. I am saying this as an annoyed reader that does not agree that Fallen by Lauren Kate or Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick has copied Twilight. Even the Hunger Games has been accused by readers of copying because of a love triangle.
Sorry...I had to vent this out. I'm not trying to trash Twilight, I'm just saying that not every book copies it.
